Weymouth Angling Society’s disabled friendly club house can be hired for day or evening functions.
We are ideally located right on the harbour side opposite the multi story car-
Our well stocked bar is open from 7pm to 11pm every evening and Saturday and Sunday Lunch times 12pm to 2pm.
We also have good catering facilities that can be used by yourself or your own caterers if required. Available to groups or individuals please contact us for details.
Junior Pier fishing every Monday evening
First established in 1900 Weymouth Angling Society opened it’s new clubhouse alongside Weymouth’s inner harbour in 1974. The surrounding waters are internationally recognised for offering a wide range of fishing experiences for everyone.
Regular competitions are organized by the club for members and non members alike both local national and international. Competitions for Boat or Shore have sections for Senior, Junior and Lady anglers so all the family can fish the same comp. We also run separate Junior, Lady, Boat and Shore Leagues and Team Leagues.
Society club members currently hold 5 British records including Junior and senior World records.
The very popular annual Summer Angling Festival has been organised by the club in conjunction with Weymouth & Portland Borough Council since it inception in the early 1900’s current details available from the club.

Society membership is open to all we have a particularly active junior section, further details are available at the club H.Q. Sea Angling is a sport for all abilities and ages & the society actively supports its sustainability.
The society has a catch and release policy for all competitions as well as a two or three hook per rod limit.
